Meet the instructors

Elizabeth McIndoe- Principal known as Miss Liz!        

I trained at Bush Davies, a vocational school in East Grinstead, gaining all my vocational exams in Classical ballet both RAD & ISTD, ISTD Modern & Tap, a sprinkling of Benesh Notation, Piano, Singing and Drama.I have been teaching for 47 years and founded the school in 1974 in Ramsbury. Previous to this I was a professional dancer with Black & White Minstrels at the Victoria Palace (now the Apollo) and a Tiller Girl working in various variety shows , the Billy Cotton Band Show and London Palladium.I am a Life Member of RAD and hold Registered Teacher Status. I am currently the representative for Berkshire & Oxfordshire for the South East Regional Advisory Committee of the RAD. 

Tara Kersey - known as Miss Tara

Tara trained at The Muriel Hasland School of Dancing in Herne Bay , Kent until she was 18 when she gained a place on the Performing Arts course at The Doreen Bird College in Sidcup,Kent. There she achieved higher levels of her vocational exams in Classical Ballet RAD & ISTD, ISTD Modern & Tap, and her teaching Associates. She danced professionally with a cruise company and in Portugal, going on to work for Warner Holidays. Whilst working at Littlecote, as Entertainment Manager , she was responsible for the company choreography at all Warner venues. In 2001 she started teaching part time for me eventually becoming full time in 2004. In 2006  she studied with the RAD for her Registered Teacher Status and graduated in July 2008. 

Laura Broomham - known as Miss Laura

Laura trained with us from the age of 11 gaining her Grade 8, RAD Inter Foundation and Intermediate, ISTD Intermediate. She then gained a place at the Royal Academy of Dance on the BA(hons) Art and Teaching of Ballet , graduating three years later with a 2:1, Full Registered Teacher Status and her Licentiate of the RAD. She accepted a full time position as ballet teacher at the Classical Dance Studios in Bristol working there for one year. She  returned to the area and joined the teaching staff in 2008
